Sunday, July 6th at 3.30pm: l’Ecume des Sons

The event, organised by the ‘Le Bufadel’ association, will take place in two parts:
– at 3.30pm, a guided tour of the remains of the abbey, led by Les Amis de l’Abbaye de Saint-Maurin; at each stop, l’Ecume des Sons will offer a short musical performance.
– at 5pm, a concert by l’Ecume des Sons in the parish church of Saint-Martin d’Anglars.

Thursday, July 24th at 9pm, courtyard of the abbey castle: Concert by Gabrielle Ducomble

Gabrielle Ducomble enchants European stages with her pure voice and refined universe, somewhere between jazz, French chanson and tango.
She has performed at Ronnie Scott’s, at the Royal Albert Hall, while also appearing in Netflix productions (The Crown, Emily in Paris).
Gabrielle revisits the great names of chanson such as Piaf, Legrand and Nougaro with finesse, at the crossroads of cultures and emotions.

Sunday, September 7th at 5 pm: Cello Concert – Derek de la Bernardie, Saint-Martin d’Anglars church

Derek de la Bernardie began his cello studies at the age of 5 at the Conservatoire de Villeneuve-sur-Lot; five years later he joined the Conservatoire Régional de Toulouse. He continued his studies at the CRR de Paris and then at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB).
In 2025, Derek won first prize in the Vatelot-Rampal Prodiges Art competition.

Derek has benefited from the advice and masterclasses of many musicians: Lowri Blake, Roland Pidoux, Lluís Claret, Emmanuelle Bertrand, Thomas Duran, Quatuor Dutilleux…
