On the afternoon of Sunday July, 6th, Le Bufadel association, in partnership with Les Amis de l’Abbaye de Saint-Maurin, organised a guided and musical promenade of the remains of the Abbey. Over 80 people took part in the tour, which alternated comments on the history and remains of the Abbey by Les Amis de l’Abbaye with musical interludes provided by l’Ecume des Sons (see photos).
The walk ended in the parish church of Saint-Martin d’Anglars, where l’Ecume des Sons performed a concert of songs from the 16th to the 20th centuries for an audience of over 100.
The festive half-day concluded with a friendly reception hosted by the Le Bufadel association. All the participants left delighted and looking forward to the next annual event.
