Our project the Cluniac footpaths of Pays de Serres is a winner of the 2022 edition of the Lot et Garonne participatory budget!
After submitting the elements of the file at the end of October 2021, analysis and validation by the department’s Participatory Democracy service, the members of the board of our organisation have been very active in order for our project to receive strong support and the maximum number of votes. We would like to thank the 459 people who voted for our project, which enabled us to win.
On the 11th of May, in Pujols, the winners were honoured: awards were presented by the departmental councillors of the cantons in the presence of Mrs Sophie Borderie, president of the departmental council.
The funding from the department will be used to :
– mark out the paths and install signposts
– install panels describing each site and display a link to a virtual visit of the site
– install a sign describing the footpaths in each village crossed.
And now, let’s get to work!
